my uncle had a 76 F100 stripped down had a 302 with 3 speed on the column .. He traded it in for a toyota about 10 years ago .. Funny thing since he had a company truck working for MP&L ( Now Entergy ) His truck only had 30,000 miles on it when he traded it and they on ly gave him 1000 of the price of the toyota.. His SR5 toyota only has 40,000 miles on it and it is a 1998.

Default 1978 F150 work in progress

I picked this truck up for 2900.00 on Craigs list. Added 35's, 4" lift, Bully step bars, new carb, new radiator, 2 1/2" dual exhaust and still more to do. It took me three days to restore the crome and Im still not done. Looks like Im about to drop another 2 grand just to finish the restore and thats not including a new paint job. I may have to wait on the paint, funds getting low.

I love those late 70's body style

Here is some more pics of my '84. Taken on a cold morning.
Heres the run down:

-1984
-Ford F150XL
-regular cab, 8' bed
-5.8L high output V8 (351 Windsor) 140k.
-Holley 4 barrel carb with electric choke.
-9" rearend (unknown gear ratio)
-exterior is two tone red with white, all factory chrome trim
-White spoke wagon wheels with chrome trim rings, center caps and lug nuts.
-all 5 original steel wheels and hubcaps
-235/75/R15 Runway enduro 75 tires with at least half tread.
-have 30"x9.50"R15 Firestone Destination A/T's almost brand new.
-interior is red with wood grain trim
-seat is in great shape with one small wear tear on drivers side.
-rear sliding window.
-truck is 100% original
-$5,000 worth of documented work done to truck within last 3 years including exhaust manifolds, 4 bbl Holley carb, COMPLETE/extensive tune up including pcv, egr, O2, etc . . .
-wired to tow trailer including brake booster
-solid steel rear bumper with reciver (I don't have ball hitch)
-VERY MINIMAL RUST!!!

Truck needs:

-rear brake line replaced
-power steering pressure line and return line
-POSSABLY a power steering pump
-horn doesn't beep

Pay no attention to the suff in the back. . . I need a storage bin.
