Rear bumper

Whenever I have questions about what fits what across model years I go to LMC or other site and look up the part for both years and see if the part numbers match.

See page 31 for 80-86 only.
Note that some aftermarket suppliers make universal parts that fit more than one model. There is an example of that in the above link (page 85) fits 80-96

Keep in mind that LMC has been known to be incorrect with parts interchangeability given that they stay with-in "generation" fit in order to cover their @zz on returns. Some swear by LMC.....I tend to swear at LMC. They are the J.C.Whitney of Ford parts....IMHO.

Being as how the beds are interchangeable within 7th gen and 8th gen's, I can't see where there would be a difference in rear bumper mounts. Front's yes, given the front clip change but, rears....no. Cabs and beds are interchangable as well as some sheet metal so You shouldn't have an issue with the 8th gen rear bumper fitting. You can put an 80's frame next to a 90's frame and the differences are minor (aside the 80-81 Swiss Cheese frames).
