Default Parts for 86 f150

I have a 1986 f150 lariat xlt, ext cab short box. I am hoping to start an off body resto this year. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to order parts? Or any ideas on customization? I am currently looking at LMC truck but they don't have everything I am looking for. I live in Canada.

Maybe hit up some junkyards. Just watch if you get a lmc tailgate . They are thinner than originals . Is a decent 250-300 pounds get on it it could bow.

Always check craigslist too around your area. I have a book from National parts depot and they have a lot of stuff too.

LMC Truck.

If you're doing a restoration, don't buy cheap junk and for body panels, only buy OEM. I bought two aftermarket fenders and neither of them fit right, I never kept them and some other cheap SOB took them off my hands and made them work (I think).

Do it right and keep every receipt of your work done, it will be handy to have when you go to sell it.

He said LMC truck in the original post, but he said he needed parts he could NOT find in LMC, which is why he is asking us.

Thank you for all the heads up. I have been using Kijiji (kinda like Craigslist) to find trucks but most the box is rusted as bad as mine and the ones that aren't they want way too much money. I am looking for a custom dash site if possible. The body I don't think I am going to change much, but the interior I want to extend the original center console to under the dash and do a custom dash. Maybe a few other things but for right now, that's all I can think of.

Build it. Small diameter wooden dowels for the frame that will flex or thin strips cut from a 2x4. Once you got what you want wrap it with some fabric and use fiberglass resin to make it solid. Then sand and paint.
