I recently bought a 1985 F-150 4x4 4sp 300 6cyc truck, a tree fell on it during a tornado on 3/2/12 and soon i will begin the process of getting it back on the road, im not going to be putting alot of money in the truck so it wont be pretty when im done, LOL just fixing it up to drive to work, and play
Wish i had pics of it with the tree laying on it lol
got plans of pushing the roof up this weekend...
anyone have any ideas on how to save the bed? im thinking about just making a flat bed out of it somehow, not sure yet
You could try a bumper jack under the inside lips of the bed, and a big hammer on the outside,
it ll be ugly, but it either moves, or rips apart, it might be eaiser and safer to replace the cab, or atleast the roof, you d need a welder an someone who can use it well, but it would save time.
300 4speed, sweeet.
going to use this, push the top up get the doors to line up, and the windshield frame also put in a windshield, ive found a drivers side door cheaper than what the glass cost so ill be replacing it, dont have alot of money to sink in the truck and i bought it cheap im hoping to have less than $500 in it and on the road, im at $300 right now
