Default Lift kit info needed...

I have a 1979 f150 and Ive been looking at lifting it. Ive been bouncing back and forth between a 6 inch lift or a 9 inch lift just because I want the clearance. Any suggestions?? Any tire size info would be great too!

6 inch lift will be your best bet, it may be pushing it at that. any higher and your driveshaft will bind and you will be spitting U-Joints left and right. Im new to the whole 4x4 part but i have been building cars since i was 12. Im new to the tire world too XD Best bet with a 6 would be 35x12.5xwhatever rim you are running. Im currently running 33x12.5x15 with a 4 lift and no rubbing problems.

No problem man, driveshafts can definitly be a b**** to work around XD 35's would give you a pretty good combo of articulation/travel, and they wont rub as much.
