Smile My 85 Larriat sht bed 2 wheel 5.0 EFI

Well I got this truck 2 years ago from a friend and she let it sit for 7 years. I am on a pretty tight budget so I started by pulling it home and fixing some of the wiring up under the hood. A few months ago I hit a 400 dollar keno so I bought a new front tank and all the inners. I blew out the fuel lines and changed the canister type fuel filter. I put 5 gal of gas in her and a new battery. Checked all the fluids. It was 2 quarts low on tranny fluid. Changed the oil and topped off the anti freeze. Sprayed in a shot of ether and whalla! She purrs like a new truck. Drives perfect so far. All the lights and switches work, good oil pressure. We took it for a spin up the road yesterday for the first time. My 16 yr old sons eyes just lit up as he experienced this truck come to life. So now that we know she is good, I plan to register it and hopefully pass smog and then we will dig a little deeper into fixing it up. Fix the rear tank ect. Wheel bearings seem fine but I probably should repack them we are happy campers.

1985 F150 brought back to life officially on 1.31.2016. This will be my son's first ride.

Nah its not Rhinolined. Had it painted and about 80 dents pulled, but it was pretty straight to begin with.
