is it auto or manual??
autos usually don't have a drain plug, you have to drop the pan.

manual's should have a drain plug somewhere i would think, unless there is a pan you can drop on them as well.

is there any type of pan or cover to remove?

their has got to be a way to get the oil out.

According to my Chilton manual there is no 'plug'
You just take out a bolt to drain:
"...remove the lower extension housing to transmission bolt..."
