Default Horn relay location on 1986 F-150

Does anyone know where I can find the horn relayon my 1986 pickup? I've looked everywhere I can think of but can't locate it. The previous owner put a button on the dash to make the horns work as he most likely had problems with it at the steering wheel location. The button stopped working , I jumped the horns to the battery and they work fine but don't work by the button. My friend says I need a relay but I can't find the location and would like it to work at the steering wheel as I've had the column replaced, don't know where to go from here. Any ideas?

If no cruise control then there is no relay.

With CC then relay is attached to the speed control amplifier box located behind LH side of instrument panel.
