fuel system problems

It sounds like you still have trash in one or both of the tanks.
When you changed the lines, filters, etc., did you do all of them at the same time?
When you cleaned the tanks, what did you find in them? If they were rusting on the inside, that will continue to be an issue. I have an Ford 8N tractor with the original tank. I took it to a radiator shop and they ran it through their cleaning process and it still has rust coming through the line.

Rubber lines from the factory are found, usually, in 3 places. Near fuel pump which you said you already changed.
Possibly a rubber hose connecting two long runs of factory line, but you've got dual tanks so you may not have this.
Rubber lines connecting from the tanks to the main lines.
Are you sure that you replaced all of those?

I am having sort of the same problem
I have an 85 reg cab f150 Lariat dual tanks with 5.0 efi. I need to know where the gas line comes into the motor. I installed a new front tank, pump in tank. Getting gas to other side of high pressure side but not firing. It will run with starting fluid for a moment? That's why I decided to fix up this truck. I need a diagram of the fuel line after the high pressure pump. I have a feeling the line is clogged but to blow it out I need to know where to disconnect at motor.
