Question fuel injected 302 to carburated 300 6

i have a 1983 f150 4x4 300 6 with a 4 speed i am putting a cab from a 1986 f150 2wd with a 302 and fuel injection what things do i need to know wiring wise and what do i do with the computer i know there is going to be alot of wires left over any thing will help thanks

To start with, the fuel pump for the injectors has too much pressure to use on a carburetor. You will need a regulator that will provide not more than 7 pounds of fuel.

You may need to get an after market distributor because the stock one expects to get signals from the computer based on the sensors that aren't there now.

About the wires, cut them off unless you think you will want to go back to injectors. If that is the case, then tie wrap them back someplace out of the way.
