Default Found 1986 F150 302/Stick

I found a truck for sale, a 1986 Ford F150 longbox regular cab. It has the 302EFI with a 4-speed trans. I haven't looked at the truck yet. Is the trans one of those weak 4-speed OD transmissions? I'm looking at this truck for a daily driver. It has 108K miles on it, but I really don't wanna deal with trans issues. What should I be looking for when I test drive it?

Check 1st gear and make sure it is not a "granny" if it is then no it is not an OD transmission

Ok. I think I'm gonna pass on it anyway. I found a 1990 F150 I like better.

Well, the 1990 was a bust, so I bought the '86. Body is in good shape, just a little rust over the rear wheels. It's got the 302 and OD manual trans, bench seat, full guage cluster with tach and power steering/brakes. Everything else is manual, no A/C.
I'm actually kinda sorry I'm gonna use it for a winter beater. Not many around like this.

How many miles on the truck? If you don't mind saying, how much did you pay for it?

107K miles on it, paid $1700 and drove it 50 miles home with no issues.
