Finally here. GREAT . not good on puter so bear with me. I'm working on a engine swap on my 85 f150 , It has a 302 in it I built a few yrs back but putting a 78 400 in . have finished rebuilding it. I need to find out if I can get frame mounts or if I have to build them 2wd. trans is c6 bb still can use trans mount. any help or ideas would help . thanks

The 400M is based on the 351C which is a small block.

400 has a large crank the 351c has a small one. 400 has 4in pistions

Just a heads up...there is NO engine designation by Ford Motor Company regarding a "400M". It's just a plain old 400 cu.in. displacement engine.
In mass production, they were assigned 2v aspiration (due to EPA/Fed) emission requirements), and in Special Vehicle Order, they were optioned in 4v for severe service applications.
