My thought would be that for 5000 dollars, I would think you could buy a real low miler truck with original paint that has room in the cab (ext cab), a box for hauling junk, loaded up with some nice options.
If you were trying to get this thing done for 1500, I'd say take what you can get - but if you're willing to pony up 5 grand, I think you can get exactly what you want for that.
Not to take anything away from the trucks you're looking at, they're both nice and have obviously had money put into them.

You said you wanted to "haul" things around, can't do much hauling with that Bronco. Hate the rims on the truck. I agree with some of the others, if you're willing to spend 5k, get an extended cab truck. Just wait a little longer, something will come along.
