I just bought a 78 Bronco a few months back and have been gradually working on it. My first step was to take off bedliner that the PO had applied sloppily all over the exterior of the body. I will NEVER do that again!

Finally found some original low back seats so I picked those up for 350. We may ditch this build all together because the guy I bought the seats from has a nice '79 for 2600 bucks that looks pretty straight and as rust free as they come. Probably going to look at this truck and maybe buy it tomorrow or the week end.

Other seat is there, I just have the console on it.

Ended up not buying the other Bronco, we would have to rebuild pretty much all the running gear so it was just a body for 2600.

Well 3 years later it still hasn't gone anywhere lol. We started out thinking we could rebuild it but the simple fact is that we don't have the time and when we don't have the time we don't have the money. Even if we had the time and money we don't have the knowledge lol. It is a nice rust free truck that would be awesome on the road but we've come to terms with the fact that it will just rot in our yard if we keep it. Today is the very sad day that after 22 years of ownership, it is finally gone. The new owner of it wants to keep it fairly stock, but he's putting a 460 in it as opposed to the engine we have for it. The guy showed us a few of his builds and he's built a couple Broncos and High boys so at least this truck will be put back together and on the road again.
