Default carburetor base for 1982 f150, 5.0

Hello, can anyone tell where to get the metal base for my carburetor. I'm trying to keep my equipment as original as possible. I have a 1982 f150 with the 5.0. The carburetor is a 2 barrel and it has an automatic transmission. I'm getting a very loud air sound because I was told the metal base that goes between the carburetor and the intake is not the correct one. I was also told that the part number would start with E0, E1, or E2.
Thanks

Try part number E0TZ 9A589-B or E1TZ 9A589-A for the OEM spacer with EGR connection

Hope this helps

Humor Me if You will...Let Me start by saying that I may come across as brash. I don't believe in the Cyber Political Correctness that many subscribe to. I believe in passing on info that can actually help people, in reality.
With that said,
First off, post a few pics of the spacer in question. Secondly, who? told You that it's not the correct spacer plate? and what is their qualification to diagnose it ?
Ask 3 Doctors whats wrong and You'll get three different diagnosis'.
The spacer could be fine but the gaskets separating it could be failing. A spacer does not fail out of the blue unless there has been excessive engine overheating causing a fracture due to heat. Unless that spacer was exposed to temps above 300 degrees, I highly doubt that it suffered a fracture or warpage. Part numbers are advantageous but, if your chasing ghosts, the end result is the same.....pure void.

Ok...I welcome any advice I can get. But I'm looking for direction and facts. Like part numbers and where to find them. The truck was bought at auction as is with missing parts. My limited knowledge has caused me to spend money unwisely. That is why I researched and found this forum with the hope of getting some direction. Thanks for the advice.
