Camming an 85 5.0 FI (maybe going back to carb)
Hey guys, first post, certainly not my last.
Just picked up an 85 5.0. My buddy is an SVT tech, and was saying I can pull heads and intake off of a 5.0 HO and get more power out of the worn out V8.
I figure while I've got the block half apart I should cam it. I've got a good amount of vacuum at the booster, so I feel like I could give it a good amount of duration and keep it driveable on a street. just not sure what you guys would recommend since I plan on wheeling it pretty damn close to tree line.
