Need help valuing 1986 F-150 Lariat
Hello everyone!
My Dad and I have owned a 1986 F-150 Lariat since 1989. We bought it from its original owner, a retired family friend, who had only put 10K miles on it in 4 years(!). It's up to 104K miles now, and generally in excellent shape. I have included a few photos; there's a bit of pollen on the hood in these photos, but it shines up real nice.
We live near Atlanta, and are looking to sell the truck to generate some extra funds. It's a 5.0L V8 302 engine, 2WD, dual fuel tanks, spotless original cloth interior, power windows/locks, cruise control, and runs very well.
KBB would value at about $1500 or so. My dad has been offered much more than that by "guys on the street" who liked the look of the truck, and I wanted to try to determine if there was a market for the truck among enthusiasts. How do I determine a fair value?
Thanks!

I would say atleast 2500-3000. It looks like it is in very good condition. But it is hard to determine over the webs. Someone would have to test-drive it to determine the drivability of it. But it looks in very good shape. I hope you good luck with sale.

I was gonna say about 3000. One way to gauge it is to check craigslist and see what others are going for. With the condition yours is in I would not sell it for a dime under 3000. I mean your talking about 104,000 original miles, clean, body is nice and straight, and the paint looks great. The real question is: do you really want to sell it cause if you do, I would make sure you don't want to get back into an F series because you won't find one better than yours out there.
