and the pcv valve isnt too big a deal with your setup. may increase oil burning a little bit, but just make sure you always at least have the valve cover vented just like you already do. at the same time, couldnt hurt to just close the pcv hole off. and having points on your distributor really takes it back old school, nice thing is if you ever have issues with it, it's much easier to fix than newer ones.
