Is my distributor supposed to have a vacuum on it ? I've tried finding one but can't

Your dizzy isn't gonna have a vacuum port for vacuum advance because your 85' used the electrically controlled feedback system. As long as all your carb/ignition/air pump hoses and wires are in order it'll run fine. Have you replaced your fuel pump yet to try and solve the issue? Sounds to me like you're not even getting enough gas to get up and go.
