I have my Grandpas 85 F150 2wd, him and my dad always said that it had a heavier suspension on it. Was this on option in the F150s in that year? Kind of like a heavy half I guess. I have been searching around but cant seem to find much on it. Once I have it running good I want to use it for hauling my quad around(since its a long box it will be rather handy). Curious if the truck will sag much with the quad on the back or not. My quad is supposed to weigh around 729 lbs according to the website.

My grandpa bought the truck brand new in 86 and according to my dad the heaviest thing it hauled was a box full of pigs haha.

Pretty sure a box full of pigs would easily outweigh your quad.

My 86 has the 'quad shock' option (4 shocks up front). Though I have 4x4. Look at the door sticker for weight rating.
If it sags loaded put on some helper springs or air lifters.
