Default 85 300i6 unknown wire.

Ok ive been wondering where this wire goes and what it is from. it looks like it is running from my tach but i hoonestly dont know there are so many wires and its an old truck so they are kinda faded so making out exact color isnt easy. Im posting a picture of the wire and where it is hanging. I put a tester to it and it blinks so im guessing its not a ground.. But any help would be much appreciated this has me stumped. So thank you in advance.

The only solid red im seeing is from the eec power relay to egr and a bypass divert solenoid then into the main connector on the firewall.

If its none of those it either has to have a stripe on it or is a aftermarket wire.

it does have a stripe its just hard to see its red with a pink or white stripe. The guy i bought the truck off of awhile back never liked to acually fix things he just half assed everything so i never know what goes where it seems..

You cant see it because the wire thats hanging is blocking it but that wire is hooked into that. Theres that wire then 2 wires that are grounded then there is that lone wire just hanging there. Sorry about the pic i resized it to make it bigger but they must have made it smaller when i posted it. This has me competely stumped. all my gauges work except the fuel but i know my sending unit is bad because ive tested it and the wiring all works. I dont have a clue what this is and all the wiring diagrams make no sense to me. I dont wanna start pull wires apart just to find out where it goes you know.. Anyways that you for trying it is much appreciated.
