'77 F150 302 runs rough as a cob!
Drove her 45 mins, unloaded and when I started motor to come home it was shaking.
Called my mech, he said check plug wires, then just drive home slower...still runs terribly rough..
The ignition module was replaced bout 5 yrs ago. (at least I think that's what the lil silver box inside the fender is called?!!?)
Y'all think its bad again?

I say start with the easy stuff too. A friend of mine told me about this tool Lisle Spark Tester, It is the easiest way to see what the ignition is doing.

You put the end near the wire you want to look at and the light will come on as the cylinder spark plug is sent juice. If one seems weak or is not "firing" correctly then you know it is one wire or spark plug. Or possible one terminal in the cap.
If they all have issues, then the cap, rotor or ignition module is suspect.
One more thing to check is the alternator. If it is not charging the battery and the truck is running strictly off of a dying battery then it will run like crap as well.
Vacuum leaks can cause this as well. Got a video of the truck idling?
