After letting them gravity bleed for a while,
If you can get a piece of clear plastic line that fits the bleeder real tight, you can loop it up over something (so air goes up and fluid goes back down to the bleeder), then down into a water bottle or such with a little fluid in it, you can bleed them yourself.
Leave the bleeder open and go pump the pedal a few times.
Pushes air out (it goes up) and sucks fluid back when you let up on the pedal.
Not sure if I explained that clearly, but I saw it somewhere and thought I'd try it, because it makes sense that it should work (and it did).
May not be as good as the old school somebody on the pedal while you work the bleeder, but my brakes seem fine.
Get you some pedal anyway.
