Default 302 or 351?

Just picked up a 1979 F150. Previous owner tells me the truck is a 302, but the vin says it's a 351. It honestly looks like a 351 to me but I'm not entirely sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a 302 to me. A 351 has the head mount to the block about 1 inch away from there the timing cover bolts on. Also a 351 has little ribs cast into the front of the block. 1 on each side of the distributor. Im not seeing either in your pics.
