That is a very nice looking pickup on the outside. What is the condition of the inside (meaning mechanics, not necessarily the seats/door panels/etc). My pickup may look bad on the outside, but I guarantee it's a lot more mechanically sound than the 10yo vehicles you see on the road today. That's because I take the time to do the necessary repairs. People these days just drive their vehicle til it breaks, sell it, and get another. In my neck of the woods, $4800 is waay too much for a 1980's vehicle, especially a single cab. The 4x4 and 250/350 460 bring the price up a bit. Maybe $4800 would be ok for a mid 90's model, for sure mid 2000's model. Down south, you'd pay probably max $2500 for that pickup, but, we do things a little differently down south. It's a different market completely.

Well I guess I will see on friday. It has to be at least a little reliable and good, he is driving it 3 hours from hayward, Wi to Belle plaine, MN to visit his brother/have us take a look. It was pretty nice of him to do that, otherwise we would be driving 4 hours to see it. If I get it I will show you guys everything top to bottom. My 84 was pretty bad so anything will be a step up.

Well I got the truck! It looks great, drives great, and is dead on reliable just like he said. Will be posting more info on it soon along with a build thread.
