Default 1986 f150 blower motor and def ac and floor selector not working

my 1986 has a good blower motor hooked it up to the battery and works fine there is a cable for the hot cold blend door but the other lever on the climate control that selects def vents floor ac etc has nothing hooked up to the back side of the lever so it does not work and the blower fan switch does not work but blower motor works if hooked directly to the battery so i have no heat or cool air and no way to send it to def vents floor etc is there anyone here that knows what that lever is supposed to be hooked up to and if the fan switch may just be warn and need to be replaced there is no resistor on the back side of the blower motor either i got the truck used it runs good just no heat or cool in cab sucks especially with fall and winter on the way

Here are some diagrams:

Here is the electrical. Note from the diagram that the fan should work on high even with the resistor module removed. If you have a multimeter you should be able to follow and diagnose the problem.

Don't forget to check the ground connection - Black wire labeled 57 between G-107 and C-607 on the diagram.
