Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. Just recently purshased a '85 F150 with the carbureted I6 4spd 4x4. I am unable to find a fuel level sending unit for this truck. Everywhere I search, online and part stores, the 1985 and 1986 I6 with carb does not exist. Does anyone know which sending unit will work with this truck? I have the midship fuel tank, 19 gallon I beleive, long wheel base. Any help would be great.

i have the exact same tank in my 85 v8 efi, i had trouble at first finding one as well. i had to end up buying the entire sending unit/ pump assy. here is the autozone Part Number: E2148S

i know you said you have the carbed i6 but both of our trucks have the mid mount 19 gallon tank. this pump is the one that fit my tank. hope this helps.

Try pulling the bad one out and strolling to the nearest parts store. Ask for a sending unit for a '84 F150 2bl with side mount tank/midship tank. When they pull it up on the computer or bring it out of the stock room compare them sid by side. There's also a picture on the Autozone website. Enjoy the hunt!
