Default 1985 ford f150 300 transmission
My first question is what trans is best for the truck it has a c6 and i would like to keep it auto so any suggestions. also for the 300 where can i get a crank, ring and gasket kits for a good price and quality

They have rings etc.. As far as the tranny, you might be better off getting a replacement C6 transmission..

Totally! Call around, that transmission is pretty common. Might be cheap to rebuild.

Summit racing sells complete C6's but if you don't want to spend that much money then you can get one from ebay/junkyard/craigslist and take it to be rebuilt at a trans shop.
