The truck starts,revs to 2k then dies if you don't give it gas. It won't idle at all. I replaced the fuel filter and the IAC . Any ideas what my be causing this trouble? Truck is a'85 f150 with 115k on it.

had similar issue with my probe a while back it wouldn't stay running at idle unless you kept giving it gas. But once the engine warmed it would run better not good but better. it was a crack rubber hose for the turbo. so maybe a vacuum leak somewhere. also a cavalier i had it would turn over start and die right away it was a map sensor those i know you can check by voltage.
