1984 Ford F150 missing factory jack and handle
We recently purchased a 1984 Ford F150. It has the lug wrench, but is missing that jack and jack handle that originally came with this truck. The jack should be on the passenger side in the engine compartment and the jack handle should be in front of the radiator by the hood release. I am looking for the same style of jack and handle this truck originally came with so everything will fit the same where it attaches in the engine compartment. Ford parts thought 1982-1987 should work but did not sound very confident. I found someone with an 1988 that would sell theirs for a fair price but Ford said part numbers where different. Can anyone tell me what years of F150 would have the same style jack setup as my 1984 Ford F150?

1980 through 86(and probably till 95)
all had small bottle jacks.
mine didnt have it as well, so i just ran to pep boys and get a 6 ton bottle for it.
but yeah just look for those years.

When I finally needed a jack mine wouldn't work! The thing had only been out of the truck once and that was when we changed the front fender. Well, I had a flat and I go to use it and the guts just break and fall out of the side of it! It was so corroded it literally fell apart. I thew it in the nearest dumpster and found a small bottle jack that would fit.
