1984 F150 Clutch and Brake Problems
I have a 1984 F150. the clutch has been acting weird for a while now, but this past Saturday the brakes stopped working. the brakes aren't being applied until the pedal has reached the floor, and when they finally kick in, they don't offer much help.
The clutch has had its own set of problems, when the clutch is held down for an extended length of time (like backing up) and you take your foot off, the pedal stays down then all of a sudden springs back up. I have also noticed that when I release the clutch, there is more travel before it catches.
Are they related or separate issues? Any idea on the cause(s) of the problems?
1984 F150, 4.9L I6, 4 speed manual.

Have you done any maintenance on it recently? Brake job or clutch replacement?

It sounds like you should check your brake lines for a leak . Maybe try to bleed them. And check the master cylinder.
Is your clutch hydraulic or manual?
