I bought this truck off a guy and went to have it inspected. I knew that there were some random hoses under the hood that had been plugged but I had no idea what they were for. When I took it to the inspection station, they said I need an air pump and a thermostatic hose. Local parts store has 2 different air pumps listed but since there is no old pump I don't know which is OEM. Ford dealer has no listing under the VIN. Door jamb has no cal code. Do I have any options to get this thing to pass?

I have '84 302 V8 and can provide photos...but my truck is CA and might have different air pump?

Post pics anyway. You may be right but I'm thinking that since it's an 84 they just do a visual inspection. I can at least see where it's located and how it's hooked up.

You do not show where you live - in CA, '84 still has full smog test.. dyno and visual...

I'm in NC. That helps a bit. At least I can see, somewhat where the hoses run. I'm going to hit some of my local junkyards to see if I can find a setup. Thanks for your help!
