79 Indy

Guys,
I just bought this 79 F-350 Crew Cab a couple of days ago. It is an unbelievably solid original truck that is LOADED. It's a 460, C-6, single wheel truck that is straight as a string and I hate to take it apart... BUT.


I am harvesting the bull bar off the front, the steering wheel and the locking interior hood release. All of those pieces will find their way onto my 79 Indy F-150. My question is this... Is the truck worth saving intact or should I part it out ?

Since there aren't too many trucks out there like this nowadays, I'd say this one would be a prime candidate for a complete restoration. I notice it has Oklahoma plates. If you don't mind me asking where did you find it?

I'm sure you could part it out, but that would be a shame. Lol. If you have a shop and kids to help, I'd say make it a family affair then take it to car shows.
