Question 1975 F150 SuperCab

I have just inherited a 1975 F150 SuperCab. It is bone stock and was parked 12 years ago and everything worked fine then. So this will be an adventure for me to restore this one. All the tires are flat and dry rotted etc. I want to buy a set of wheels and tires to go on this. Can anyone tell me or advise me what is the largest tire wheel combo I can put on this? It is a 2 wheel drive. This truck has the 460, C6 trans. Can anyone tell me if this has limited slip or what the rear end ratio might be?

Thanks in advance!!

Bill

I have an equivalent tire size of a 30 so I would guess anywhere between there.

Check the vin.

I would like to replace the bed on this truck. Can anyone tell me what year models will interchange with the 75 f150 longbed? this has the dual gas tanks as well as the side tool box.

Im sure 73-79 f150 long beds will fit. Just finding one with Dual tanks and tool box in the side is going to be fun to find.

To determine your gear ratios and whether you've got a limited slip, or not, theres a little metal tag on the top (probably front) of your differential, just above the driveshaft, with a bunch of numbers. write those down, then google will reveal some helpful sites.

Ford axle decoder is probably a good search, there are a few that'll tell you how many splines, limited slip, the ratios, and a bunch of other random stuff you cant imagine how helpful it is to know.

Hi guys,
I am not sure where to post this, but if this is the wrong area perhaps the moderator can move it for me please.
I have a 1975 f150 supercab. It has factory cruise control on it that I would like to keep as original as I can. From what I have read less than 3% of these came with this option. I need to replace the steering wheel and center controls, (horn pad, etc) can someone tell me where to get the exact factory replacements for this?
