Default 1965 Ford F-100 Restore

Hi everyone! I had recently signed up to get some advice on my 1989 F150 but not I have taken on another project after my great uncle has passed. Its a 1966 Ford F100 that needs a good mini restore (Minor welding of rust and some retrofits).

Some questions on this project.

Is there a kit to change it over to front disc brakes with a brake booster or what years would fit the 66 ford also same goes for power steering.

Should I change it over to a mustang II front suspension? What is the gains for this?

Thanks all!

Big update today, I started at 9AM and left around 5:30PM but I got most of the it stripped down and found the main rust spots. Someone tried to cover up the rust with sheet metal and self tapping screws covered in body filler LOL. I took all this out and knocked most of the body filler out. Next thing will be to use a wire wheel and clean up the floor and get it ready for measurement and cut. The engine has been found to a be 351W small block and will get pulled soon to make room for me to cut the suspension out.

Other shots of the truck

More to come soon!!!

Looking good. Putting the 351 back in, or swapping something else?
