When do you change your oil?
I change the oil between 3000-4000 miles. Normally closer to 3000.
My OMC (Old Man Car) Buick has a computer that tells me a percentage of the oil life left, but I ignore it because there's too many miles between changes.
Do you go by the book or do you have your own interval?

I change mine about every 15,000 miles or so (every August). It always looks like fresh oil when I change it. I just had some work done at the dealership and when they checked the oil for their complimentary check, they asked me if I had just changed the oil (it has about 8,000 on this oil change). That's what Amsoil will do for you.

I go pretty much by the book but I will change early if the oil is looking dirty. **I just bought my 03 F150 in Jan 2010**
It will take me a couple of oil changes to get a feel for this truck's engine's needs.
