what's the difference between ignition coil packs?
Like most people I'm on a tight budget but my truck needs a tune up. I found on a few different sites cheap ignition coils for $50 for a set of 8!! What's the difference between those and the Accel ones for $250 for 8? Is there really that big of a difference in power and mpg?
Thanks for the help!

Those have a 10 year warranty too! Vs the 90 warranty by Accel.

Hence - stick with Motorcraft or Visteon only unless you enjoy chasing misfires and changing COPS often.
Avoid Accel and the cheap chinglish knockoffs. They are junk.

Think Harbor Freight tools. They are good for a quick project and not long term. You can use the $50 ones for now but you'll know they will have to be replaced much sooner than the MotorCraft ones.

Here is a cheap set from amazon. Seems crazy that you can buy a complete set of 8 cheaper than 1 motorcraft coil. The reviews on the above coils are very good also. Why don't you buy them and then give us a review 1 yr. from now! When I need to replace mine, I just might go this route. We'll see.
