what years engines fit an 2001 4.6
Looks like I have no compression in cylinder #7 ...its an 2001 xlt 4x4.
My mechanic says I may need both heads rebuilt or worse.
Does anyone know what years engines are the same. I Just want to swap engines without changing the wiring harness and computer and other stuff.
I see these trucks at salvage auctions all the time and next week thy have an 02 and an 03.
How do i know if it is the same. 8th vin letter is W
