does the left one flash fast too? i have the same problem but both of mine flash fast.

Start with replacing the bulb and make sure the grounds are good. It's a problem that can happen to any brand not just a Ford. My Chevy pickup did it and it was a bulb. I've also seen the wrong bulb being installed can cause the problem.
