Default Nothing to do with seat belt bukle up sequences

I did try to buckle up before turining the ignition and it did not change anything.

Tomorrow, I will try the 27th fuse.

Default chime

The chime you are hearing is because
Your airbag sensor wire has come off the light on the dashboard.

It will ring 5 times x 5 times every 30 minutes.
The only way to fix it is to disassemble the dashboard and reattach the wire.

Good times.......

Default Computer

I have a 1995 and had the same problem. I replaced the computer and the warnings all went away. There were several conflicting and disappearing/reappearing warnings that the computer couldn't figure out what to do with so it just chimed at me. The airbag light was coming on as well, but it wasn't the wiring - the computer had reached eol.

Now I have a different problem, which is I get a warning chime when the lights are on with the engine on. errr.... I just turn the stereo up until I figure this one out.

Fix or Repair Daily....

Lately, my truck has started to sound a warning chime while im driving. It is not the seat-belt chime, or the keys in, lights on etc.... Chime.

The chime is the same one as you get when your fuel gets low enough that the truck is warning you. As you know this causes it to sound one time and the monitor says low fuel.

my problem... the chime is now sounding off at random times when i clearly have plenty of gas but it will sound off 5 times in a row and does it 6 times consecutively for a total of 30 times!!!!! This is incredibely annoying and i have called my local dealer and they have no clue what the problem is. When the chime is going off i look at my guages and all are reading good. I have checked all of my fluids and they are good. The computer doesnt show anything either. No warning lights... Nothing!!! The truck is running great, starts right up, and has no noticeable problems...

I just had my truck in for service 3 weeks ago and spent 1800 bucks. They are telling me to bring it in, and id rather not bc just a diagnosis is lik 80 bucks or something like that. Can anyone help me????

Just a note.... I have one other problem but i doubt they are linked. My seatbelt sensor is screwed up. I have to have my seat-belt on before i start my truck or it will continuously chime(again a different sounding chime). Even if while driving i put it on, for some reason it is not sensing that i have put it on. I will have to pull over stop shut off my truck, bckle up, start her up and continue on my way. This goes for both front seats.

Wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol

thank you in advance,

maxx

This seems to be an old problem, so I'm hoping someone came up with a solid cause and cure for it? This thing is driving me nuts.

At work I had a 02 f550 that was doing the same thing I brought it in to replace the clock spring because horn button hadn't worked for whoever knows how long . Over the last year the driver has whined about the random dinging and I couldn't find anything checked tried every remedie I could find online. After i replaced the clock spring under the steering wheel the dinging stopped horn and cruise buttons and everything worked again . The airbag wiring also runs through it so I'm guessing that's where the dinging was originating from .

Default chime sound

my 99 f-150 started the chime about a year ago. the same time the air bag dash light went out. sounds a few times, does it again every thirty minutes. lets you know how far you have driven on a trip. but its a warning to the driver about the air bag because the dash light is out.

Default Airbag disconnect

I have had the same thing. 5 times 5 times every 30 minutes. It is because the passenger airbag has been disconnected. The chimes inside the instrument panel cluster and can't be accessed unless you take the cluster out.
