Truetrac rear diff install
Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone here has installed an eaton truetrac? Im debating doing the job myself, but would only consider my mechanical skills mediocre.
What should this cost to have installed? Would really like to try it myself, but have not found a good "how-to" in case I get in over my head.
The truck is a 98 f150 4.6 2wd 3.55 LS rear (10 bolt pattern), 29" tires.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks...

I just got my true-trac, and my appointment with the Ford Guru is next Tuesday - I supply the carrier, he supplies new carrier bearings, etc., and he'll charge me $400.00. Expensive mod - but a nice mod -
