Truck still idling high, HELP!!!!!!!!!

Truck still idling high, HELP!!!!!!!!!
Still have a high idle for a minute or so after the truck has set up for any length of time. Changed the idle air valve controller, unhooked the batt cables and still have the problem, any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Flash

Any check engine lite activity? Intake leak can cause a higher idle. Might check out Phatflatty 47 in the engine talk section. Posted him my experience yeaterday, it clould apply more to you than him as he drives a 5.4. Know for a fact my info pertains to the 4.2.
