Transmission Stuck in 3rd
I have a 2011 F150 the other day I started it an noticed it was stuck in 3rd gear, the trans temps didn't work and the electric fan was full blast!
Ended up taking it to the dealer being as it only had 34K miles they had it for about 4 days and they had to reflash the computer with an update. An it fixed it like new. Now after the update I noticed.. That you no longer have to press the manual shift button to get the gears 1-6 to show up. It shows all the time. Also tend to warm up alot faster than before. An I think I got lucky because I put 35" on the truck I think they told the computer my tire size because now the speedo is dead nuts.
