Default Tick on 2015 F150

I noticed last week when i was standing outside of my truck that there is a faint ticking sound when the truck is idling. I don't notice the sound inside the cab but why would the truck have a slight tick to it? I don't have a check engine light on. I am just curios if anyone else is having or had this issue and what to do.

if it's only when cold it's the exhaust drain...yes, I said that right. There is a void in the pipe connection underneath on the driver side. Right at the joint, look under there and it will be obvious. It's there to "allow" condensation to drain. I called Bs but that's what it is and fords sticking to it. I eventually didn't notice it. Only hear it when the truck is 1st started, once warm, it's pretty much gone

Makes sense. I will start to pay attention to that then. Learn something new about this truck each day. I appreciate your reply. Thank you very much. That was when I primarily noticed the tick was first thing in the mornings from a cold start.

no problem, took me a few days to figure it out, got under the truck and noticed the drip. Pretty obvious then.
