Default Need some Opinions

Hey guys,

I've got a 2005 F150 that has 206k miles on, at the beginning of the summer I replaced the tie rods, then the tires, then the shocks and struts, oh yeah I then replaced the Pinion and bearings in the rear end... Right so $2600 there. CEL Has been on for a while so I thought I'd fix the timing issue on it and go ahead and sell the truck. Well after the parts and labor I sank $700 and went to back out of the garage and it simply wouldn't... Trany went. So I'm rebuilding the trany right now and will have sank $1600 there. I'm doing the spark plugs on Saturday and don't really know what's left to go wrong on this thing. Previous owner rebuilt the 4wd for it to be the valves.

Previous owner also told me that the engine had been replaced by the first owner and it should now have about $86k miles on it. My mechanic verified that for me and told me that for one the engine had definitely been swapped out, and that two he wouldn't stop asking why I wanted to sell it because the engine was "super clean and had no build up at all"

Was wondering if you had opinions on keeping it vs selling it and getting a newer model. It's worth 10500 in the KBB plus the carfax told me to add $1000. Do you think I could ask for $15k in hopes of getting 14500? I'm in zero rush to sell it at this point.

Also if I keep it what else should I keep an eye out on for the next repairs that are to come?

Alright well I did forget to mention that it has 5k in extras but planned to not get any back out of it.

Why is it that I'll only get 8k, with the kbb, nada, and others saying 10k being the price?

I appologize I just don't know too much when it comes to this, I'm learning so that's why I come here to ask!

Ah alright, that makes sense. So granted the truck has 206k on it, but should I be worried? I know there's no set time that it'll just die, but with the repairs that I have done, should I be safe to keep it for a while? I only put a max of 8k miles a year on this thing and will continue that trend.
