Default sudden tire deflation

I had a quick tire deflation last week, don't reall y like plugged tires so put a new tire on. Now im getting a TPMS senor fault message. Do you have to reprogram the sensors every time you change a tire. New to forum and f150's but I"M LEARNING real fast.

No, I would speculate the person that replaced your tire probably damaged the sensor.

Around here they don't plug them anymore, they dismount the tire, and patch it on the inside, a very good method.
