I have about 146,000 but had the plugs and wires done at 121,000 at my local ford dealer who shafted me out of $1200 to do the job with no broken plugs

He shafted you if he charged you for plug wires... you most likely have a bad COP on those cylinders ...

Yup. That engine doesn't have plug wires.

Default coil packs

I started with the number three cyclinder as that was the easy one to get to and I only had one new one on hand well when I took it out the spring was very rusted and black at the spark plug connection so I see I need to replace them as well as all the plugs whats the better cps out there without breaking the bank and I have to say I,m in renal falure with 2 10 mm kidney stones that are causeing me great amount of pain doing the work is hard but I,m going in for my fourth surgery this month and its just been really hard and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your help

check out rockauto.com great prices .. I bought the AC/Delco spring and boots for $25.. don't for get to use some dielectric grease on the rubber boot ends..not the spring..this will prevent moisture for getting into the connections ...like you found. Good luck with the stones buddy...I feel your pain.
