Sounds like a "ticking" sound?
2008 Lariat with 5.4L, 4wd, automatic, etc.
Lately I hear what sounds like a metallic ticking. It seems to be coming from the passenger side. It almost sounds like a piece of metal vibrating against another piece. I can't detect it increasing with RPMs. I did not have a chance to crawl under it to day while it was running and look around. Just curious is anyone has had a similar issue like this? I notice it more when windows are down, at low speed like parking lot speed or idling. I would swear it just started in the last few days.
