Simple Question - 2015+ F150 3.5L EB Oil Changes
This should be simple - for those of you that change your own oil on 2015/2016 3.5L EB's, do you use ramps or jackstands to gain sufficient access, or just crawl underneath to remove the felt 'skidpan', access drain plug and filter, etc.?
I've changed my own oil for basically all my life. On my previous F150's and F250's, it was easy enough to just crawl under the body to do what's necessary, even with front air dams on later models. On my new ride, I no longer can fit under the front w/o removing the front air dam. I can 'almost' access the things I need from the front undersides, but my ribcage suffers a lot. On other cars I've owned, I needed jackstands to get needed clearance, but never a problem with my previous Ford trucks.
So what do 2015+ 3.5L EB self-changers do - leave the truck on pavement and just crawl underneath, or use ramps or jackstands to gain clearance, or ?
