Default Side Mirror Replacement

I've got a replacement side mirror for my 2005 supercrew, is there a way to pop out old mirror and replace without taking off complete assy?

The glass assembly pops off then you can pop the new one on. If you already have or when you get the new assembly you see what I mean.

If I may ask, where did you get that replacement? I need a new assembly for my driver side.

If it's not heated glass;any glass shop can order replacement. If it's heated go to dealership;I just paid $21.00 for the heated glass.

So does the glass just pop out of our mirror housings if we pull on it? Is there a trick to it?
